This session will bring you up to speed on the Experience API: what it is, why it was created, and how to use leverage it. We’ll also look at a few real-world case studies to help tie things all together.

At the end of this session, the participants should be able to:

  • Explain xAPI to others at a high-level
  • Express the value proposition for xAPI, LRSs and tools that support xAPI to others
  • Begin considering how tools that support xAPI can be leveraged in the organization
  • Understand how to get started with the tools currently available

He’s been involved with xAPI since it was in its early beta stages. At Rustici Software, Andy helps customers understand which e-learning standards they should use in order to reach desired business goals.

All members of Dallas ATD are welcome to attend any SIG any time. All non-members please feel free to join us for up to 2 sessions at a SIG. After 2 sessions, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will be expected to join Dallas ASTD by paying the annual dues of $115.
