Mentorship Program

We build people, connections, and careers.” Matt Hirst, 2018 Chapter President. The ATD Dallas Mentorship GIV Program, is another way we help create access to resources within our organization and build you expertise by sharing your expertise with one another. Through the ATD Dallas Mentorship GIV Program, we help you Create your Goals, while you Invest your time, which provides Vision for your future.

Program Details:

Our program runs twice a year for three months as summarized below:

  • The program kicks off with an orientation;
  • Mentors/mentees are matched based on your desired goals;
  • Mentor/Mentee pairs will set-up a three month mentoring plan;
  • The program concludes with a capstone session to share lessons learned and the program’s impact on your learning journey.

Criteria to Apply:

To participate:

  • You must be an ATD Dallas member in good standing,

  • Be willing to commit to at least two hours a month to the program (includes time with your mentor or mentee), and

  • Attend the final capstone session at the conclusion of the program.

After being matched, the mentor and mentee will have the flexibility to mutually determine the specific time commitment. We recommend a minimum of two meetings per month over a three-month period. These meetings can take place either virtually or in-person, depending on your individual availability and preferences.
