Dallas ATD Management Special Interest Group
Hosted by: Glenn Smith, Melody Bertrand, and Bob Britton
September 6, 2019 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Facilitator: Josh Rovner
Despite their best efforts, most companies have blind spots in their operations. They may not be aware of problems with their processes, or perhaps they can’t see that their customer relationships are starting to deteriorate. What if your company’s blind spot involves your greatest resource, your people? What if the work force you thought was fully engaged is actually just checking boxes and phoning it in? What if your employee surveys are leading you to believe that everyone is happy, yet disengagement persists?
This presentation focuses on how companies create these blind spots regarding employee engagement, how you can recognize disengagement in your own organization, and how managers and learning professionals like you can provide potential solutions.
At the end of this sessions, participants should be able to:
- Identify critical flaws in their companies that lead to employee disengagement and other problems
- Approach employee engagement in a different way
