ATD Dallas Career Development SIG

Hosted by Robert Bee

June 25, 2018 6:30-8:00pm
Facilitator: Cash Belew

I’m sure you’ve all probably heard the statistics of the high percentage of people who have obtained jobs through networking with other people. So, what’s the most effective way to find a job? It’s through networking. Another great way to network with other professionals is with the use of informational interviews. Whether you’re actively seeking a new position or are thinking about another career, this SIG session will help you obtain the information and contacts you need. The job market is competitive for training professionals. Sometimes you can’t get all the information you need by just applying for jobs, using the internet, and interviewing. That’s where informational interviews come into play and can help connect you with other professionals and information that will be beneficial to your career.

About the facilitator:

Cash Belew is a training and development professional with several years of experience helping others succeed. He has designed, updated, and presented workshops and seminars to adult learners in large groups and small, informal gatherings. Most recently he completed a training project at Collin College to educate and train students to use a career/resume software tool available to them.
