Today’s workplace is more generationally diverse than ever before, with Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z all sharing the same virtual and physical learning spaces. This diversity is a powerful asset but it also challenges learning professionals to design programs that engage every participant, regardless of their age, experience, or preferred learning style.

In this interactive session, we’ll explore proven strategies for engaging a multi-generational audience, uncover the myths and realities about generational learning preferences, and share tips for designing training experiences that create connection, boost engagement, and deliver lasting results. Whether you lead instructor-led workshops, design eLearning, or manage organizational learning strategy, you’ll leave with actionable ideas to enhance the effectiveness in your programs.

Session Objectives:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Identify the key characteristics and motivators of each generation in today’s workforce as they relate to learning and development.

• Debunk common myths about generational differences that may unintentionally influence program design and facilitation choices.

• Apply engagement strategies tailored to multiple generations, including delivery methods, communication styles, and technology considerations.
