BRIEF DESCRIPTION

Learning and development (L&D) professionals have a highly valued skill set that continues to gain recognition as a strategic asset to the business. However, L&D careers paths are far from linear. Many L&D professionals shift job roles and responsibilities regularly — especially as business needs evolve.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Amy DuVernet, Ph.D., CPTM 

Amy DuVernet, Ph.D., CPTM, is the director of training and development at Training Industry, Inc., where she oversees all processes related to Training Industry’s courses for training professionals, including program development and evaluation. DuVernet serves on the executive board for the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from North Carolina State University and is a Certified Professional in Training Management.
