ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Dr. Tem Lawal is the Director of Leadership & Organizational Effectiveness at Gartner where he leads the company's employee engagement survey measurement and analysis efforts, as well as various organizational development/effectiveness initiatives. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology, and has since established his expertise in performing various research and data collection methods to gain talent insights that lead to meaningful actions for organizations and leaders.

Prior to joining Gartner, Tem worked for organizations such as eBay Enterprise, FedEx, and the City of Dallas, where he leveraged data to develop and implement people strategies across a wide breadth of talent practices including: training program design and evaluation, leadership assessments, DEI analyses, workforce planning, executive leadership development, organizational development, succession planning, talent reviews, career development, coaching, competency modeling, recruiting and retention, executive selection, and more. Tem is passionate about developing leaders and organizations to continually progress towards the best versions of themselves and to positively impact the people around them.
