A Fresh Look at Goal Setting for 2014
January is goal-setting season in many companies now that goals are central to performance management. Oh and don’t forget the New Year Resolutions we attempt on a personal basis.
But how many of you find you give up on your resolutions or have seen the accomplishment of performance goals not make the progress expected?
Fitting a goal into a SMART (specific, measurable, actionable, relevant and time bound) template will only get you so far. What makes a really good goal?
Come and explore goals and perhaps gain a new perspective that will fuel your professional and personal success.
- What is the true purpose of a goal?
- How do you know you have a good one or not?
- Are you aware when your goals are holding you back?
- What does writing goals down have to do with anything?
Facilitator: Martha Germann, Founder of Mindful Games Institute, empowers individuals and teams to consistently and consciously obtain a productive flow. Within this flow, creativity and happiness are readily accessible, opening previously unseen avenues to intentional and effective solutions.
