Networking for Introverts (and Others Too)

March 25, 2019 6:30-8:00pm
Facilitator: Jan Moorman

We all know that one of the best ways to find a job is through networking. But when you’re an introvert, it’s so much harder than it is for those chatty extraverts! Or is it?? Attend this session to learn the fundamentals of effective networking even if you’re a confirmed introvert!

Be prepared for an action-packed session where you will:

  • Develop and practice your “30 Second Pitch” to introduce yourself to networking contacts;
  • Learn to ask for “AIR” (Advice, Information & Referrals) in your networking conversations;
  • Utilize the Reciprocity principle when networking;
  • Draft and practice a networking script to gain confidence and increase your networking muscle strength
