Career Development SIG: Positioning Yourself and Negotiating for Jobs, Promotions or Contracting

Are you ready for your ideal employment arrangement? Do you feel uncomfortable with bargaining for what you want? Are you skilled in negotiating without blowing the deal?

Though we may be in a favorable market, it can still feel intimidating to be in the job hunt, let alone asking for something more! In this workshop, we will review the key strategies for securing your ideal position and relevant work conditions. You will learn:

• How to handle compensation discussions
• How to powerfully conclude an interview
• How to position yourself for getting a great offer
• How to respond appropriately to the offer
• How to negotiate for what you want

About the facilitator:

Russ Yaquinto is an accomplished human development specialist who helps professionals and leaders achieve their ideal career. As a Master Certified Coach and Certified Career Coach, he guides individuals and groups in confidently going after what they want.
