Description:

Every talent strategist asks four questions: What could my organization look like 5+ years from now? What talent will I need to lead that organization? What talent do I have now? What should I do to close the gap? Succession planning is a vital part of that strategic planning. Succession planning is a disciplined approach to identifying the most critical roles at an organization and developing a proactive pipeline to keep them filled.  At this month’s Breakfast with the C-Suite, you will spend time with two seasoned HR executives, Jeff Lamb, EVP Corporate Services & Chief People Officer, and Paul Hoffman, SVP HR at Hunt Consolidated. This event offers exclusive access to senior executive thinking. You’ll learn about Jeff’s and Paul’s approaches and get their guidance on succession planning.  You don’t want to miss this opportunity, whether you are a veteran in Talent Development or new in your role.

Jeff Lamb

Jeff Lamb serves Southwest Airlines as EVP Corporate Services. Jeff oversees the Real Estate, SWA University, Diversity & Inclusion, People and Culture Services Departments. He led the integration management office to oversee the acquisition of AirTran Airways. He launched Southwest’s Diversity, Wellness and award-winning Emerging Leadership Development Program (ELDP). Jeff has been a Southwest Officer since 2006 and reports to Chairman & CEO Gary Kelly.  Jeff has 35 years of experience in corporate America spanning four different industries:  oil & gas, media, real estate and transportation.  He had held leadership positions at Mesa Petroleum, Belo Corporation, and The Staubach Company, prior to Southwest Airlines.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Club Corp and Highland Homes.  He and his wife Kim have been married for 34 years and have been blessed with three daughters, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren.

Paul Hoffman

Paul serves as SVP, HR and Administration for Hunt Consolidated, Inc. During the past 14 years, Paul has made a significant impact at Hunt Consolidated, Inc. and serves as a key member of the senior leadership team in the support of major business decisions, such as numerous M&As, start-ups, spin-offs, acquisitions, and divestitures. He has been deeply involved in the set-up of drilling operations on six continents, the growth of a domestic oil company, and the start-up of a $4.2B LNG project in Peru.  All of these sizable transactions have led to Hunt becoming one of the largest, privately held companies in the world.  Prior to joining Hunt, Paul’s served in executive leadership positions at Illinois Power and Dynegy.  Paul currently serves on the Executive Committee on the Board of Directors of the Dallas Metropolitan YMCA, as well as a Board Member for Senior Source.
