Management SIG: Diversity & Inclusion Strategies and Initiatives that Impact the Business

The diversity and inclusion strategies and initiatives of many organizations often fail to impact the business to the extent hoped. Leaders and talent professionals can address the challenges associated with implementing impactful D&I strategies and initiatives by including a few critical success factors and important components in their approach. Participants will learn:

• Approaches to link their D&I strategy to the business strategy
• How to operationalize D&I philosophies and approaches
• How to integrate D&I into key business processes
• How to make D&I relevant to the business at various levels and locations

Bobby Griffin is the Global Director of Diversity & Inclusion for Flowserve Corporation, a NYSE listed global manufacturing and services company. In his role, Bobby is responsible for the strategy design and execution of Flowserve’s global D&I effort.  Bobby’s focus is to foster the creation of an inclusive work environment that affords all employees the opportunity to contribute fully to Flowserve’s business goals and objectives.  Bobby provides D&I related counsel and guidance to Flowserve leadership as well as support and governance to the global D&I infrastructure.

*Participation is limited to the first 50 people who sign up.  Participants will go to the 5^th floor and sign-in.

Free visitor parking on the south side of the building, and also behind the building in the parking garage.  

All members of Dallas ATD are welcome to attend any SIG any time. All non-members please feel free to join us for up to 2 sessions at a SIG. After 2 sessions, to provide ongoing chapter support to the SIG, you will be expected to join Dallas ASTD by paying the annual dues of $115.
