Reach New Audiences Through Online Training
Complimentary Training Webinar with Dr. Kevin Gumienny
When: Wednesday, May 18th, 10:00AM - 11:00AM CDT
Location: Virtual Webinar
We often see training as an educational event for internal staff or skills development: Trainees are meant to learn specifics of an ethics policy or how to use a new computer program. But training can be much more than simple instruction. As Senior Learning Architect Dr. Kevin Gumienny demonstrates, online training can be a way to reach out to the public at large, a way to further a mission. In fact, online training offers a reach that in-person training can't match.
In this 60-minute webinar, you'll learn:
- When and why training can be more effective than other outreach methods
- How health, public safety, military, and educational organizations use online training to reach broad audiences—and the results
- Factors to consider when considering outreach training for your organization
Join Dr. Gumienny as he discusses opportunities and challenges, as well as benefits and pitfalls, that come from using public-facing training as mission outreach.
