We Need Management Training! Where do I start?

Friday, July 10, 2015
Facilitator: Deborah Avrin

It starts with a request …We need management training!  There are so many topics involved in management development training, where do you start?  We all know that trained managers are more efficient, communicate effectively, create great relationships with employees, and minimize legal risk but….

• This is the equivalent of going to the doctor and saying I need an antibiotic

• Management training is a solution…a prescription

• The question to ask is what are the symptoms that lead you to believe that training is needed?  And what does great management look like in your organization?

• By asking the right questions… the end result is a terrific program that produces results

Join us for this interactive, engaging SIG where you will participate in a process to identify the right prescription for your management development needs tailored to your organization.

Why do you want to attend the January Lunch & Learn SIG meeting?

Because…  You will learn principles that work from the best-selling book, Five Dysfunctions of a Team.

Because… A cohesive team will:

  • ·         Make better, faster decisions as people are aligned and on-board
  • ·         Leverage the skills, talents and opinions of all team members
  • ·         Ensure conflict becomes productive and healthy versus draining and damaging
  • ·         Focus on the results versus self-interest and politics
  • ·         Create a competitive advantage and sets your organization apart
  • ·         Eventually become “A Best Place to Work”

Join us for this interactive, engaging SIG where we will explore the behaviors that create a high performing team, give you practices to bring to your own organization and insight as to why this concept has been embraced and widely accepted around the world.
