Learning Technologies SIG

The Learning Technologies special interest group is designed to address issues related to training software products and using software products to train other work-related skills. Join other trainers and instructional designers responsible for training clients and internal employees how to use various software products. Come share ideas for classroom, web-based, and asynchronous online courses. Let’s learn together to make job-related, hard-skill training more interesting, fun and retainable! We focus on sharing examples for how to use a variety of authoring software (Captivate, Camtasia, Flash, Articulate Storyline, Framemaker, etc.) to create the best courses possible. We share ideas to enhance video and audio and other technical components of presentations. We also discuss various uses for social media to complement and enhance training.

The Learning Technologies SIG meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month.
